Our Operations team helps assess potential opportunities for V2G projects, site selection and scoping for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) installations, project registration and set-up, interconnection, installation, commissioning, ongoing performance, and enables successful customer relationships. As an Operations Associate you will interface with existing and potential clients to gather and analyze site data, and report value from V2G services, in addition to helping to bring these installations to life. Additionally, the Operations team provides a wide variety of support for other projects and needs within Fermata Energy and for partners and clients.

What you’ll do:

• Monitor existing and ongoing operations and provide remote support
• Provide outstanding customer service to support ongoing site operations and relationships with clients and partners
• Support customer onboarding and training once V2G systems are deployed
• Regularly analyze and report on performance of projects post-deployment
• Work with our Fermata Energy technical teams (hardware and software) to provide operational support
• Help evaluate programs and individual project viability, and measure potential benefits to Fermata Energy and customer
• Support projects from start to finish including designing and implementing V2G projects (may include assisting with the management of customers, contractors, utilities, and the utility interconnection application process)

Need to Have Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of experience in renewable energy, clean energy tech, or related fields
• Experience with data analysis and presentation (MSFT Office, Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills
• Written and oral communication skills specifically oriented towards providing excellent, responsive, and empathetic customer service
• The ability to work well in a team and be solutions oriented
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a client- or customer-facing role
• Experience with project management tools/platforms
• Experience with utility rate design, demand response programs, and utility interconnection processes
• Experience modeling energy storage projects or electric vehicle usage
• Experience managing EVSE installations and construction work
• Experience with utility processes, incentive programs, and applications for EVSE and DER installations
