What You Will Do
As the HR Generalist at CleanFiber, you’ll be an in-office partner to the business, owning critical HR functions that keep our operations running smoothly and our culture strong.
Payroll
- Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now
- Audit timekeeping data and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related questions
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
HR Compliance
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is audit-ready
- Support regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local employment laws
- Monitor and enforce internal policies and procedures
- Maintain and update the employee handbook and internal HR policies
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Partner with managers to develop job descriptions and hiring plans
- Post positions, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and manage offer processes
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation experiences
- Help establish a consistent and branded candidate experience
Employee Engagement
- Champion employee engagement and culture-building activities
- Act as a resource for employee relations, providing support and guidance
- Plan and execute internal communications and recognition initiatives
- Collaborate on company events, surveys, and pulse checks
What You Will Bring
We’re looking for an HR professional who’s both people-focused and process-savvy. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, HR compliance, and recruiting best practices
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll systems)
- Understanding of federal and multi-state labor laws and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism
- A proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A genuine passion for building a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
