What You Will Do

As the HR Generalist at CleanFiber, you’ll be an in-office partner to the business, owning critical HR functions that keep our operations running smoothly and our culture strong.

Payroll

• Process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now
• Audit timekeeping data and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related questions
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate reporting and compliance

HR Compliance

• Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is audit-ready
• Support regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local employment laws
• Monitor and enforce internal policies and procedures
• Maintain and update the employee handbook and internal HR policies

Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Partner with managers to develop job descriptions and hiring plans
• Post positions, screen applicants, schedule interviews, and manage offer processes
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation experiences
• Help establish a consistent and branded candidate experience

Employee Engagement

• Champion employee engagement and culture-building activities
• Act as a resource for employee relations, providing support and guidance
• Plan and execute internal communications and recognition initiatives
• Collaborate on company events, surveys, and pulse checks

What You Will Bring

We’re looking for an HR professional who’s both people-focused and process-savvy. To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist or specialist capacity
• Strong working knowledge of payroll, HR compliance, and recruiting best practices
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (or similar HRIS/payroll systems)
• Understanding of federal and multi-state labor laws and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills and a high degree of professionalism
• A proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A genuine passion for building a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
