What You'll Do
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Partner with top leadership to develop positioning, messaging, and sales enablement materials that accelerate awareness and brand definition that lead to pipeline growth and progress.
- Identify and prioritize target market segments, buyer personas, and key decision-makers within marketing organizations
- Craft competitive differentiation strategies that highlight our platform's innovative advantages
- Create and lead the execution of experiences for our target audience that build awareness, curiosity, and a perception of advanced thinking and technology.
- Create powerful sales and PR materials that succinctly share the value proposition
- Position company executives and product experts as thought leaders in the performance marketing space, with a focus on major industry and non-endemic events and organizations
- Develop a robust content engine including case studies, whitepapers, and other published content that demonstrates unique platform value and ROI
- Create educational resources that help marketers understand evolving industry trends and how our platform addresses them
- Build relationships with industry organizational leadership, analysts, media, and bookers to amplify our message.
- Develop and execute an integrated, multi-platform marketing and PR strategy that defines and positions our new platform.
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness of our platform's unique value proposition among target marketing audiences
- Create compelling content and messaging that translates complex platform capabilities into clear business outcomes
- Build and optimize inbound lead generation programs across multiple channels including digital, content marketing, events, and partnerships
- Generate strategic research briefs to equip senior management for thought leadership engagements/ high-profile meetings with clientele
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, lead quality, and pipeline contribution
- Continuously test, iterate, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights
- Manage marketing budget allocation to maximize ROI
- Implement attribution models to track the buyer's journey and optimize touchpoints
Experience & Expertise
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in commerce, social, SaaS, martech, or adtech sectors
- Proven track record of building brand awareness and engagement that led to market share gains and sales growth
- Understanding of the marketing technology landscape and performance marketing principles
- Experience marketing to marketing and advertising professionals (marketing to marketers)
- Strong grasp of digital marketing channels, personalities, conversion optimization, and lead nurturing strategies
- Exceptional storytelling ability with talent for translating technical features into compelling business value
- Data-driven mindset
- Project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and demand generation tools
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and customer success teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Creative problem-solver who can identify new opportunities and test unconventional approaches
- Metrics-oriented with focus on outcomes over activities
- Passionate about staying current with marketing trends, technologies, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
